Mounds Theatre in 1950
The Mounds Theater at 1029 Hudson Road looks much different in this 1950 photo.  It was taken just prior to a major renovation later in the year that rearranged the doors, removed the ornate marquee and covered the brick exterior with stucco.  Another renovation project will begin in the spring of 2001. Read more about it in "Busy Winter at the Mounds Theater".
